The Process
From Concept
to Installation
There are no shortcuts. Every work demands weeks of sustained attention — carving, refining, responding to what the surface reveals.
01
Concept
Each work begins with deep study of geological formations, architectural space, and the interplay of light.
02
Design Development
Every surface is carved entirely by hand. No molds, no casting, no digital fabrication. The tool marks are not hidden — they are part of the work.
This is a slow process. A single piece may require weeks of sustained carving before the surface begins to reveal its character.
03
Sculpting
Layers of texture are built and refined over time. The surface is worked and reworked — responding to how light moves across it, how shadow falls into the carved recesses.
The texture is never applied. It is excavated.
04
Finishing
A final finish is applied to seal, protect, and enhance the depth of each unique surface. The finish is chosen to complement the texture language of the specific work.
The result is a surface that changes throughout the day as the light shifts.
05
Installation
Professional installation throughout Ontario and the Greater Toronto Area. Every work is installed with precision — level, secure, and positioned to interact optimally with the light of the space.
Worldwide shipping is available for international projects. Full installation documentation and care instructions are provided.
